A pregnant mother-to-be has given birth to a baby boy in a Queensland service station car park with the help of a sock and shoelace.
Sharyn Daley was working at Cheap as Chips discount store in Logan, Brisbane, on Friday when a man ran in screaming 'that a lady's about to have a baby', she said.
The assistant store manager grabbed a towel from a shelf and ran outside to help the woman who was in her car parked in the neighbouring 7-Eleven servo.
It is understood the baby's head was already crowning and the birth was over within seconds after quick-thinking Ms Daley arrived on the scene.
