Bruce Lehrmann has fled his new digs after his housemate complained that him moving in had 'ruined his life'.

Paul Farrell offered Mr Lehrmann a place to stay when his year-long deal with Channel Seven for a $2,000-a-week property in Sydney's northern beaches ended.

Mr Farrell, 48,  told Daily Mail Australia that he thought he was just 'helping out a mate' when he offered his spare room at his North Sydney rental to Mr Lehrmann.

'I'm renting this place and had a spare room ... but it's basically ruined my life with all the photographers and journalists hanging around.'

On Friday, Mr Lehrmann was no-where to be seen at his new home - after three days where groups of women came and left the property with alcohol.

Daily Mail Australia understands that Mr Lehrmann is now couchsurfing and last night shacked up with a high-powered Sydney socialite, elsewhere in the city.

Neighbours earlier told Daily Mail Australia of their deep frustration with the parties that have occurred at the home in the past three weeks.

But the partying was still going - with a male friend of Mr Lehrmann's arriving with a box of alcohol and mates making two trips to the bottleshop.

Neighbours claimed Mr Lehrmann's companions had in recent weeks been 'shrieking' the lyrics to Tina Turner songs, swearing at all hours, and talking outside into the early hours of the morning.

'It's not loud music, it's mostly carry-on with
