Uber Eats customer goes hungry after receiving empty burger box from McDonald's ... trends now
An Uber Eats customer has gone hungry after an apparent glitch on the app resulted in her receiving an empty burger box from McDonald's.
Mel had ordered a Double Big Mac and was ready to enjoy her meal after it was delivered to her front door.
She was left shocked after opening the box and finding it completely empty.
The frustrated customer took to Facebook revealing that a technical error was to blame.

'There was a glitch in the Uber Eats app and somehow deselected every ingredient,' she wrote.
'Macca's staff must have thought I was cooked and just sent me an empty box'.
The receipt shows the eight ingredients that make up a Double Big Mac were deselected, including the meat patties, salt and pepper and the bun.
One social media user claimed that Mel should have technically been delivered a meat patty.
'Technically, there should have been one patty in the box. There are two all-beef patties and the instructions only removes one,' they wrote.
In fact, since the customer ordered a Double Big Mac, there should have still been three.
A similar incident happened only weeks ago with a food delivery app from a McDonald's at Maylands, in Perth, in March, Yahoo reported.
