'Barfgate' MP Eleni Petinos is threatening Labor's Walt Secord with legal action over a milk carton meme mocking her on Facebook.

Ms Petinos demanded Mr Secord apologise for posting the image, which is a fake milk carton missing persons notice picturing and naming her.

The spat comes just days after Ms Petinos was unmasked as the mystery MP responsible for vomiting in a government car after State of Origin II.
