Police are investigating after a teenage girl was struck by a train in Pierrefonds-Roxboro Tuesday afternoon. The girl was injured but her life is not considered in danger.

Police are on the scene to determine what happened, Montreal police spokesperson Daniel Lacoursière said.

Because the accident involved a train, it still has to be determined whether the case will be handled by the Montreal police force or by officers with CN or CP, Lacoursière said.

More details to come.
