Friends have paid tribute to a young man who plunged 50ft to his death at a construction site.

Sam Clarke's body was found in a deep trench by workers at the site of a skyscraper in Bank Street in Canary Wharf, London on Tuesday morning.

His friends had taken to social media to appeal for information after Sam went missing following a gig at the O2 arena in Greenwich on New Year's Eve.
