Lottery Fever hits hard

For the first time in history, this week's Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots are worth over $400 million each.  

The lottery stars aligned when Mega Millions' Tuesday night drawing for a $361 million jackpot failed to produce a winner. 

The Friday night drawing will be for an estimated $418 million, according to the Mega Millions website. 

Meanwhile, the Powerball drawing for Wednesday night is currently estimated at $440 million, the winner could also opt for a one time cash payout of $278.3 million.
