Pensioner fighting for life 'after road rage row over parking'

A pensioner is fighting for his life after being brutally beaten during a road rage parking row.

The 68-year old was attacked by the much younger driver of a white Mercedes in a dispute over parking in a suburban street.

Police say the victim, who was driving a black Volkswagen, was not taken to hospital immediately after the incident in Enfield, north London, on the evening of Friday April 20

But his condition 'deteriorated' and he was admitted to hospital six days later on Thursday April 26, and he remains in a 'critical' condition.
