Hannah (played by Hannah Ellis Smith) is pretending to be the long-lost daughter of Liz McDonald (Beverley Callard) - with help from Coronation Street baddie Jim McDonald (Charles Lawson).
She’s trying to con Liz out of her savings by pretending she needs specialist treatments in America but Hannah also has her eyes on another target.
Hannah knows Liz had an affair with Johnny Connor (Richard Hawley) but his wife Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) is oblivious.
In an upcoming episode of the ITV soap, Hannah uses the information to her advantage.
It all unfolds as Jim confesses to Liz that he still has feelings for her, but the barmaid first tells him she’ll think about it.
While Liz mulls it over, Jim tells Hannah the money has come through from Liz’s account and that she should leave the street without him.
