Last year Crazy Rich Asians took audiences and the box office by storm as one of the best rom-coms in years. In fact, it was No 4 in Express.co.uk’s favourite movies of 2018, not far behind Avengers Infinity War. Former TV presenter Henry Golding was introduced in one of the starring roles and now is a hot favourite to be the first mixed-race James Bond. Now he features in a couple of Crazy Rich Asians’ deleted scenes channelling the emotional and humorous side of his character.
In the first scene, Nick is having a frank and almost teary conversation with his mother Eleanor, played by Michelle Yeoh.
Poor Nick laments his family’s obsession with wealth and class in the face of him wanting to marry the woman he loves.
Meanwhile, the second scene reveals how Nick managed to get Colin off the bachelor party rig.
