Claude Littner, 69, has been Lord Alan Sugar’s aide on The Apprentice since taking over from Nick Hewer in 2015.
With a few years of experience under his belt, the star revealed whether he would ever take on Lord Sugar’s role.
Speaking to Express.co.uk at Cirque Du Soleil TOTEM, he spilled: “No, no, he [Lord Sugar] does his job brilliantly.”
He added: “That’s the way it should be.”
Despite not wanting to take on the top role, Claude admitted he’s enjoying being on the show more now.
Discussing The Apprentice 2018, the businessman divulged: ”I enjoyed it immensely to be honest. I felt much more comfortable in the role because I've now done it for a few years as opposed to just doing the interviews.
“It's a lot of fun. It's hard work but Alan, Karren [Brady] and I get on very well, so it's serious and tough but we have our moments of humour."
On last year’s series, swimwear brand owner Sian Gabbidon beat Camilla Ainsworth to win Lord Sugar’s £250,000
