‘You’ve upset the Queen’ Richard Osman berates Alexander Armstrong #Pointless

It all unfolded during a round on the BBC quiz where the contestants had to name characters in certain theatre shows, one of which was the Lion King.

Pointless presenters Alexander and Richard then turned to discussing Sir Tim Rice who wrote the lyrics for the musical.

“Our lovely friend, Tim Rice,” Alexander shared.

Richard then replied: “Ahh Sir Tim. I call him Sir Tim because that’s his name.”

He then continued to joke: “He’ll be watching this at home going ‘you didn’t call me Sir Tim Rice? What, the Queen is not good enough for you?’.

“The Queen will also be watching at home just going ‘mate, I call him Sir Tim’.

“So you’ve just upset the Queen and sir Tim Rice.”

Alexander than gasped in mock-horror as he continued with the programme’s proceedings.
