Cruise company Carnival Cruise Line has announced glad tidings for food and drink lovers. Passengers will no longer have to trek to a bar or restaurant when they feel peckish. Carnival’s HUB mobile app means pizza and beer is available to holidaymakers at the literal touch of a button. The cruise line rolled out the pizza ordering function back in February but beer and soft drinks are now available too.
Carnival Cruise Line will now deliver beer and pizza to you anywhere on the cruise ship
With the HUB app, Carnival customers can select a pizza and accompanying beverage and have it delivered right to them, no matter where they are on board.
According to Carnival: “After choosing a hand-tossed pizza with their preferred toppings, guests will be asked whether they would like a beer, soda or water to accompany their meal.
“To place an order, guests simply tap on the ship’s map to mark their location, take a selfie to identify themselves and select their desired order.”
Drink options on the app include Peroni, Miller Lite and Blue Moon while soft drinks include Coke, Coke Zero, Diet Coke, Diet Sprite and bottled water.
Cooked-to-order pizzas including margherita, funghi, prosciutto, pepperoni and quattro formaggi.
These are delivered hot to the guest’s location on board for a cost of $5 per pizza and automatically charged to guests’ Sail & Sign shipboard accounts.
