The 19-year-old claimed to have the leaked memos, which criticised US President Donald Trump, read out to him by a trusted source. Mr Edgington, who worked as a Brexit Party aide since April while “investigating the civil service for months”. His leaked memos were published by The Mail on Sunday by Isabel Oakeshott as he chose to leave his name out of it “given the possible controversy”.
