Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman returned this evening with a host of celebrities for a 1980s edition of Pointless.
Today’s teams included Doctor Who stars Colin Baker and Nicola Bryant, and former javelin thrower Fatima Whitbread and figure skater Robin Cousins.
TV presenters Mark Curry and Peter Duncan, and actress Sonia and singer Jaki Graham also joined the show.
During the first round. Doctor Who star Colin stunned the Pointless hosts with his answer.
The celebrities were tasked with finding “Words ending in ‘…eck’”.
“If you can score 90 or less, you’re through to the next round.”
“Should I be very brave? I think it’s one word, quarterdeck,” answered Colin as the studio fell quiet.
Interrupting the stillness, Alexander remarked: “Listen to that, oh savour that. Noise like bees buzzing in lavender.”
“That’s the noise of a good answer, good or a very bad answer but I think of this occasion that’s a good answer.”
