Ruth Langsford, 59, was joined by Saira Khan, 29, Jane Moore, 57, and Stacey Solomon, 30, on the Loose Women panel today to celebrate the former's birthday. As the stars of the ITV panel show marked the occasion, the ladies discussed their own feelings when they turned 30.

After bringing a cake on and decorating the studio for Stacey’s birthday celebrations, the star of the show said: “I feel weird about being 30. It’s a really weird feeling.”

Ruth replied: “I remember being 30 and feeling so grown up.

“And I was not depressed, but when I turned 30, I thought by the time I turned 30 I would be married, have a couple of children and I wasn’t and my friends were most of them.”

As the host continued, a picture flashed up on the screen of a throwback from when the This Morning star was in her thirties.

Realising the image was in view, Ruth remarked: “Oh, there’s me as a continuity announcer in the West Country.”

Jane responded: “Look at you,” as the image showed Ruth with long dark hair, seemingly a completely different image to the shorter, blonde haired look she sports now.

The leading panelist continued: “I felt everyone else was kind of moving ahead with that and I wasn’t, so I felt a bit lot on my 30th.”
