The Chase star Jenny Ryan, 37, surprised the judges and viewers with her rendition of Queen’s Somebody To Love on The X Factor: Celebrity last weekend.

But despite her love for singing, The Vixen star reassured fans she has no plans to leave her quizzing knowledge behind to be a popstar.

Addressing the positive comments she received about her performance, she wrote on Twitter: “I think that #TeamVixen gained a few new members last week!

“There's room for plenty more, we can all hutch up a bit.”

The quizmaster went on to reassure her social media fans she is staying put on the show, adding: “Don't worry, though, as I have no plans to give up #TheChase in favour of a pop career any time soon!

“I love my job too much! Tune in to #XFactorCelebrity at 8.30pm tomorrow to see the rest of the auditions and to find out who the judges put through to the Live Shows x.”

She continued: “I think a lot of you need to wrap up a bit warmer as you said you had goosebumps on Saturday night.

“The comparisons to Cher and Alison Moyet are insanely flattering, thank you so much!”

Jenny concluded her thread of posts telling fans she is “overwhelmed and touched” by the love and support from viewers.

Many of the star’s 57,000 followers flocked to her to comment, with one user writing: “You gotta win this Jen, your are simply the best.”
