According to sources speaking to the Daily Mirror, the Duke and Duchess want to build a bush lodge in Botswana where they stayed in 2017. The spot, claimed to be where the pair fell in love while “camped out under the stars,” dates back to when they began dating in 2017.
The pair also visited the region last month as part of their royal South Africa tour.
Harry left South Africa mid-way through the ten day stay and went on to visit several organisations within Botswana.
Though his visit was mainly focused on charitable events and raising awareness, the Mirror speculate that it is there that Harry began his search for the couple’s dream property.
A source told the publication: “They would love to build a traditional bush lodge, constructed by locals, bringing work and trade to the land.

The nation offers some solace for the pair and is one of Africa’s most stable countries.
President Mokgweetsi Masisi is understood to have given their plans his blessing.
