#JoeSugg talks #Strictly return with Dianne Buswell

YouTube star and 2018 Strictly Come Dancing star Joe Sugg, 28, says he is in the midst of rehearsing for the Christmas Special with his partner and girlfriend of one year, Dianne Buswell, 30. He joked that the pair make one another laugh so much, that sometimes it slows down their training.

Speaking on Strictly Come Dancing: The Official Podcast yesterday, he said that while they feel at home rehearsing in the same BBC rehearsal rooms they did last year when they first met, their developed romantic chemistry makes things a bit different now.

He said: “We are rehearsing in the same rehearsal rooms we did on the show and it’s such a nice feeling to be dancing again with Dianne.

“Like she said, when we make each other laugh we go quite weak in the body so we then try to do a rehearsal and dance are our bodies go quite limp so it’s like we can’t do it like this.”

The social media star also said that he thinks the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special will be the perfect treat for viewers this Christmas Day.

He explained: “It’s going to be out on Christmas Day - hopefully it’s a time when everyone has had their roast dinner, they’re all on the sofa, they’re all playing their parlour games (is that still a thing parlour games?)

“Like Charades and all that and all that kind of thing. Then you put the TV on and, oh Strictly’s on! Oh my word it’s Joe! He’s back!”

On the same episode he said that he would not be at the Blackpool Strictly episode this week, where Dianne is set to perform.
