MULTIPLE children have been left injured after being hit by a car outside Debden Park High School in Loughton, Essex, in the late afternoon, resulting in the death of one 12-year old child.

Police were called to the incident at Debden High School on Willingly Road, in Loughton. Emergency services are at the scene and witnesses have reported that a number of children have been struck by a car. Essex Police have said it has launched a murder investigation following the death of one of the children involved. Essex Police explained the incident on the Twitter page and said: “We are currently at the scene of a serious collision on Willingly Road, Loughton. “The road cannot be accessed from junctions on either side of Debden Park High School.
