JEREMY CORBYN has lost voters in Labour heartlands as a focus group explained the downfall of the party they had always voted for and why they won’t be voting for it again.

Jeremy Corbyn has faced a “collapse” in the North of England as Boris Johnson is likely to pick up seats there. A focus group labelled Mr Corbyn as the reason they won’t vote for Labour and said they don’t know what the party stands for anymore. They were asked what exactly has broken the trust for the voters from the Labour heartlands.

Speaking to Channel 4 news, one said: “I think that they’re old hat so I feel like with my generation our parents voted Labour so we voted Labour.

“I think that we’ve started to rethink it now.

“I think that they’re kind of dying out.”

Another added: “I think in the Tony Blair days you had a great leader and you knew what he stood for, rightly or wrongly.
