I’m A Celebrity viewers were left teary after Caitlyn Jenner, 70, opened up about her “inspirational” close friend who has since died. She detailed the huge impact her track coach had on her life and called him a "good person".
The camp was overcome with emotion yesterday evening, as the conversation moved onto people who have influenced the campers’ lives.
The US reality TV star began to speak about her old track coach in college, and the admission left viewers teary.
She spoke of LD Weldon, who was 65 years old when she first met him.
"It wasn’t just track stuff, it was knowledge, about life, and he was a really good person," Caitlyn described, as her eyes brimmed with tears.
"He had so many athletes throughout his career but he said to me that I was truly the greatest athlete he’d ever coached and that meant a lot to me, a lot, a good man,” she sobbed.

The Olympian was comforted by her fellow campmates on the ITV show and fans at home took to Twitter to show their support for the jungle favourite.
One pleaded: “I really hope that @Caitlyn_Jenner realises when she eventually leaves the jungle, how much the British public have fallen in love with her during her time on #ImACeleb and if she disappears from British TV it will be a big mistake. Huge. #ImACelebrity2019.”
