Christmas is just weeks away and many people will countdown with an advent calendar. However, those with a Cadbury calendar have been left in tears as they try to tuck into their Christmas treats. The brand has come under fire after chocolate lovers claimed their calendars had nothing behind the window.

Many Britons will pick up an advent calendar full of their favourite chocolate before December arrives.

However, festive fans have been left furious as they missed out on a sugary treat.

Opening up the first window of the calendar, some Britons were left without any chocolate at all.

Posting pictures of the missing chocolate on Twitter, parents shared how disappointed their children were.

One Twitter user said: “My lad opened his advent Calendar and there’s no chocolate. Opened the back and it’s empty. Cheers sons crying. Nice one.”
