Kate, 52, left the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! camp during the semi-final on Saturday night, with Coronation Street star Andy, 38, announced as runner-up in last night’s final. Speaking on Good Morning Britain today, the pair spoke about the ban which was enforced during their stay in the jungle with regards to Brexit.
The future of the UK’s position in the European Union has been a divisive issue since the General Election in 2015 and with another one taking place this week, the matter is still a strong talking point.
As a presenter on the early morning news show, Kate knows all too well the ins and outs of the Brexit divide sweeping the nation.
Now out of the camp and reunited with her co-stars on the topical ITV programme this morning, the journalist revealed she was unaware of what had been happening in the political world.
It was at this point in the interview Andy stepped in and revealed any talk of Brexit and voting had been banned.

Rounding off the interview with the campmates, Piers Morgan, 54, commented: “You’ll be pleased to know, nothing’s changed in Brexit.
“The world’s still gone nuts,” he added, before remarking “it was great” his co-star was back in the outside world.
Referring to the divisive issue, Andy explained: “That word was banned in camp. That word was banned.”
Kate acknowledged she had no clue what had been going on, but told her colleagues they could “fill her in” on any developments with regard to politics.
