The final episode of Arrow on The CW, titled Fadeout, was the tenth episode of season eight. The show, based on the DC comics, saw Oliver Queen (played by Stephen Amell) mastering archery on a deserted island. He then returns to home to take on the persona of vigilante Arrow to fight crime.
Fans were pleased to see most storylines tied up nicely in this final episode.
First of all, it is confirmed Arrow is actually dead - Oliver Queen was killed off two episodes before the series finale.
He takes a hit to resurrect previously dead characters including his half-sister Emiko (Sea Shimooka).
Many characters from across the eight seasons turn up for his funeral, even Nysa (Katrina Law) and Talia al Ghul (Lexa Doig) who once considered him an enemy.

The series finale was also the opportunity for Oliver’s daughter Mia (Katherine McNamara) to follow in her dad’s footsteps.
Mia meets her mother Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) for the first time when she time travels to the present to attend her dad’s funeral.
When she first arrives in the present she realises her half-brother has been kidnapped and manages to rescue him.
Felicity picks up on the fact her daughter is a lot like her dad, to which Mia says “I can only hope”.
