Former Strictly Come Dancing star Debbie McGee, 60, paid a tribute to Caroline Flack, 40, on her self-titled show on BBC Radio Berkshire. The Love Island host was found dead at her flat in London after taking her own life last Saturday.

The radio host told her listeners about her own experience with Caroline after meeting her on Strictly Come Dancing.
“I was so so sad to hear the news about Caroline Flack yesterday,” she began.
“I saw it on Twitter and I thought, actually I had to look through some more tweets as I thought, ‘This can’t be true, is it a joke?’
“Because sometimes people put things like that as a joke.”

She went on to say: “So, I thought I’d tell you my experience of her, as I take people as I find them.
“When I was doing Strictly [in 2017], she came to one of the recordings, quite far into the series, and in the green room which is where everyone in showbiz meets.
“Caroline actually came to find me and was so sweet and lovely and complimentary and really warm and a bubbly, bubbly person.
“When I talked to some of the other pros from when she did the series, because she won Strictly, they all spoke really highly of her.”
