DI Neville Parker (played by Ralf Little) has recently joined the Saint Marie police force in Death In Paradise after DI Jack Mooney (Ardal O’Hanlon) decided it was time to start a new life away from the island. Viewers were introduced to Neville half way through the current series and the actor admitted this led to a problem on the BBC set.
When asked how he enjoyed his first series filming the show in Guadeloupe, he told Express.co.uk: “I loved it.”
He admitted his friends and family were “jealous” when he jetted off to film his first scenes.
Ralf continued: “Admittedly I was only there for two and a half months and everyone else was there for five.
“Maybe by month four people were like, ‘Okay, I’m a little tired now’ or whatever.”

Ralf admitted he “annoyed” his co-stars when he arrived on the island.
He explained: “But that said, I think I started to annoy everyone with my relentless positivity because I just loved it.
“Everyday I turned up going ‘this is brilliant, is everyone having a nice time?’
“And they’d go, ‘Stop being so chirpy we’re all knackered.'”
