Strictly Come Dancing host Claudia Winkleman, 48, was recently joined by British comedian David Mitchell, 45, on her radio show. The BBC Radio 2 host spilt on the moment her eldest son Jake Thykier, 16, left her momentarily taken aback.
The pair chatted about David’s latest project when the topic soon turned to his work as the voice of Panda in Peppa Pig.
The Strictly host then spilt on a time she was asked to read the BBC’s Bedtime Stories for CBeebies, but it seemingly didn’t go down to well with her son.
Claudia explained: “When my eldest was four-years-old I was unbelievably, like a miracle, asked to read Bedtime Stories on CBeebies.
“It was such an honour and I said to them, ‘Don’t send me any vehicles or anything. I’ll make my own way [to the studios].’”

She continued: "I made everyone cake and I did the story. It was passable, it wasn’t great. I’m not brilliant at accents but it was fun.”
The radio host took part in the BBC programme which sees celebrities read infant stories for young children.
But it seemingly appeared her eldest son had expected his dad -Claudia’s husband Kris Thykier - to do the voice over instead.
Claudia explained: “They tell you when it’s going to go out. It’s thrilling.
