Peaky Blinders is a period crime drama which is set in Birmingham and features the iconic Tommy Shelby (played by Cillian Murphy). The series follows the Shelby family after the First World War and the family is loosely based on the 19th century youth gang of the same name. The award-winning show has been renewed for another series and filming should be starting soon.
The end of the fifth series Tommy Shelby had planned to take down the fascist Mosley (Sam Claflin) at a political rally.
The plot has been planned with great precision and Barney (Cosmo Jarvis) was ready to pull the trigger.
However, things backfired in a horrific way when Barney was the one who ended up being shot.
The disaster meant someone must have known about Tommy’s plan and was able to intercept before Mosley was killed.

At the end of the nerve-wracking episode Tommy was left wandering in the misty marshes when he saw his dead wife Grace (Annabelle Wallis), who was luring him in to join her in the afterlife.
In the final scene Tommy held a gun up to his head and started screaming, with fans left wondering whether he had pulled the trigger.
As viewers will have to wait a while for the new season to start, they have been revisiting the last series.
One fan has come up with a theory about who betrayed Shelby in the season five finale.

Aleiphart said: “I think it was Gina (Anya Taylor-Joy) and Mosley. Let’s think about it, in season five episode two, when Mosley first met Michael (Finn Cole) and Arthur (Paul Anderson) in Tommy’s office, he said to Michael that his regular in Detroit was a club called The Gladiator.sonos sonos One (Gen 2) - Voice Controlled Smart Speaker
