Victoria Beckham, 46, has now hit out at the claims she will be copying Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop empire in "every way" by releasing a line of sex toys. A source close to the business responded by insisting that the rumours are fabricated.
A cheeky sense of humour
The insider addressed the original report and said: "This is absolutely not true! There are no plans to sell sex toys!"
The article had claimed Victoria was looking to "raise her revenue" by launching her brand "as soon as possible" to target a similar demographic to Goop.
"She may seem unsmiling and prudish, but Victoria reckons she has a cheeky sense of humour, and will not be shying away from trying to snag a share of the sex trade like Gwyneth has done," a source had claimed.
"Sex toys will be a no-brainer for Victoria, who wants to make a fortune from the new brand," they continued to MailOnline following Daily Star's initial reports.

Goop markets expensive dildos and even a 24 karat gold plated vibrator that retails for thousands of pounds.
However, it seems that Victoria is not looking to take her latest venture down the same route.
An insider previously said that the star is hoping to tap into the international market, including America.
They told The Sun: "The Beckhams are huge in the States. Victoria's products are likely to be lapped up and provide her with a lucrative leap into the international market."
