LINDA ROBSON - a panellist on Loose Women - has apologised to her co-star Brenda Edwards after she accidentally squirted mustard in her eye ahead of the live show this morning.

Loose Women star Linda Robson, 62, joked she needed her P45 after she squirted sauce in Brenda Edwards' eye ahead of a stain-related segment on the live show. The show’s anchor Andrea McLean, 50, filmed the backstage action and shared the humorous footage with her Instagram fans.

In view of her 270,000 followers, she said to the camera: “So we’ve just done a live promo with This Morning and this happened…”

Andrea then turned the camera around to a puzzled Linda, who said she didn’t know what happened as Brenda could be seen wiping her face in the background.

“I swear to God, I didn’t want to get it on her face, I’m so sorry,” she divulged.

Andrea could then be heard asking Brenda if she was ok as she continued to wipe sauce off of her face.

“I’m sniffing ketchup, it’s awful,” she replied.

Linda exclaimed: “I’m getting away, I nearly killed her.”

Brenda could then be seen jokingly walking off the set to clean herself up as she exclaimed: “This is not how I signed up for work today.”
