The One Show presenter Alex Jones, 43, couldn’t help but giggle after her and Amol Rajan’s interview with Danny Dyer, 43, suffered a few technical errors. The hosts were interviewing the EastEnders actor from the set of his game show The Wall via a video call during tonight’s episode of the BBC show.
However, the video link went through a few delays, leaving Danny pausing for a while before answering Alex and Amol’s questions.
Danny was speaking about his upcoming EastEnders storyline at the time, when Amol issued a light-hearted warning to Alex about her inability to suppress her laughter over the glitches.
The Mick Carter actor shared some news about the highly-anticipated return of the soap, which he referred to as “season two”, as it marks the first episodes being shown after the stars went on a filming break due to the coronavirus lockdown.
He said: "I've got to say, we come back... season two is another level.

He added: "I wish I could tell you more... but it's a powerful, powerful thing.
“We've been off the telly for far too long, so we're coming back with a bang, don’t you worry about that Alex!”
Amol seemed to appreciate the EastEnders gossip, as he replied before showing a clip of the show to viewers: “Let’s see a little clip of it in action.
