One passenger was left baffled, however, when they found themselves fighting to make their allowed piece of luggage fit.

That is, of course, until a flight attendant stepped in and showed the simple way to make sure all baggage is stowed safely and correctly.

The moment has gone viral thanks to a video clip which has been shared multiple times online - most recently by Instagram account @PassengerShaming.

Thanks to her smart thinking, the cabin crew member featured in the footage has been applauded by viewers.

In fact, the @PassengerShaming has even gone so far as to “honour” her quick thinking in a situation which was seemingly growing stressful.

The footage shows the moment a male passenger was struggling to fit a black wheelie bag into the overhead locker.

No matter how hard he pushes, the man simply can’t get the bag to fit.

To make matters worse, it is clear his cabin-mates around him are watching with bated breath for the moment the bag slots comfortably inside.
