The Duchess of Cambridge, 38, and Prince William, 38, are allowed to drop their young children off at the gates of Thomas's Battersea in London but cannot walk them to the door due to COVID-19 restrictions. But royal commentators Rachel Bowie and Roberta Fiorito have expressed how upset they are to not see a back to school picture of Prince George and Princess Charlotte. They noted that they are holding out for an udpated picture this autumn.
Speaking on the Royally Obsessed podcast, Ms Bowie said: "The Cambridge kids are back at school which is also why Kate and William are able to do get back to work.
"William mentioned that the kids are back.
"He said I think every parent is breathing a sigh of relief that schools have started again.
"He also added the five months have been wonderful but a long five months.

"As a reminder, George is starting Year 3 and Charlotte is in Year 1 but it is sad we didn't get any pictures this year."
Ms Fiorito added: "I'm really upset we did not get pictures.
"I'm still holding out that we're going to get a late autumn one."
Ms Bowie noted: "I think it has so much to do with COVID regulations and they can't do drop-off at the frontdoor although the Cambridges do have an exception to that.
