The Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William were seen on an outdoors royal engagement with Sir David Attenborough, 94. Due to his age, the natural historian is considered to be more vulnerable to coronavirus. Royal commentators Roberta Fiorito and Rachel Bowie questioned why the senior royals did not take more precautions around the environmentalist. They suggested that the royal couple may have been tested beforehand.
Speaking on the Royally Obsessed podcast, Ms Fiorito said: "There was a lot of criticism about the David Attenborough stuff because he is 94 and because the kids are around.
"We've been hearing reports that the UK and Europe is entering a second wave of coronavirus cases.
"Yes, they're outside and I looked up the laws in England, masks are mandatory indoors but not outside.
"Still, it's kind of crazy they wouldn't have masks on around someone.

"It doesn't make for a good picture obviously.
"But someone as well known as naturalist David Attenborough, I would think they would take more precautions.
"Maybe they got tested before."
Ms Bowie added: "Covid cases in London are really going high again. It's unnerving to see."
