The tenth anniversary series of Death in Paradise will see some major cameos and comebacks. Joséphine Jobert has taken back her old job as DS Florence Cassell, Sara Martins will make her way to Saint Marie once more as DS Camille Bordey for a two-episode story arc, and the show’s original lead actor Ben Miller is set to appear for a special cameo. But is there a return in the cards also for Danny John-Jules’s Officer Dwayne Myers?
Executive producer of Death in Paradise, Tim Key, has recently spoken about the potential for some fan-favourites to return to the show.
Fans would be most excited to have DI Humphrey Goodman, played by Kris Marshall, come back to the island as well as Danny John-Jules’s Officer Dwayne Myers.
“Never say never,” said Tim. “That’s all I’d say. I’m trying to be all mysterious.”

“The joyous thing is that we do genuinely all stay in touch,” continued Tim.
“I’m in touch with Kris quite often as well, and I think that because they’ve got such affection for the show we wouldn’t rule anything out if there was a good story to tell,” he said.
Kris left his role in 2017 in series six after having appeared on the show for four seasons.
