Speaking in the latest episode of The Kevin Clifton Show podcast, released today, the 38-year-old set the record straight on the rumour.

The performer said this had surrounded claims that the programme favoured him over other pros.
Kevin slammed the suggestions while speaking about his "third or fourth" final, before quitting last year.

The latest instalment of the series saw him discuss what happened alongside dancer, stage star and TV presenter, Anthony Rutherford.
Kevin recalled: "Someone wrote, it became a thing apparently... I never look at the forums anymore.
"Apparently it became this big thing on a forum, because someone sent it to me."
