The John Lewis Christmas advert is the starting pistol for the festive season, and is usually released in the first or second week of November.
An unconfirmed teaser video for this year’s advert is doing the rounds on Twitter, and could mean that the big reveal is just days away.
Last year John Lewis released a trailer on Monday, November 7 before unveiling the full clip on Thursday, November 10.
The 2016 advert starred Buster the Boxer, a pet dog who discovered the joys of trampolining on Christmas morning.
It first aired at 9.15pm during the ITV thriller Paranoid, but was made available online and on social media shortly before.
If we had to guess, wed’d predict that this year’s advert will make its first appearance during Elton John: The Nation’s Favourite Song, a countdown of the singer’s most popular tracks which airs on Sunday at 9pm on ITV.Related articles
