The CPU is said to be 30% faster than that of the original Xbox One, while the GPU is 4.6 times more powerful than its predecessor.
It's capable of delivering native 4K visuals thanks to a 6 teraflop graphics processor that puts the PS4 Pro's 4.6 teraflops to shame.
The end result are games that run smoother, load faster and look better than ever before.

The first thing you'll notice about the Xbox One X is how good it looks.
It features a similar design to the Xbox One S, only this time it comes in black, so it should blend in with most home entertainment units. It's also technically smaller than the Xbox One S, although it certainly isn't lighter.
Microsoft has ditched the ugly brick of a power supply that came with the original Xbox One and integrated it into the console. This results in an Xbox One that looks better than ever before, but also weighs in at around 4KG.
Still, it's unlikely you'll be lugging it around with you, so the weight isn't really an issue.
But the real benefits of the Xbox One X can be found under the hood.

Simply put, the very best Xbox One X Enhanced games look incredible and run flawlessly.
It's up to the developer to decide on the level on Xbox One X enhancements, but there's potential for 4K visuals, 60 frames-per-second performance and HDR support.
Not all games support the holy trinity of enhancements, but when they do - like Forza Motorsport 7, for example - the results are spectacular. Images are sharp, vibrant and colourful, and performance is silky smooth.
