The parent company of Winchester Interconnect acquired C&M Corp., a maker of wire and cable for industrial, medical and military uses that operates in a Killingly facility totaling 150,000 square feet of space.
Winchester Interconnect has its headquarters in South Norwalk and is owned by Snow Phipps Group, which acquired C&M from the Lexington, Mass.-based private equity firm Watermill Group for an undisclosed amount. Watermill had bought C&M in 2008 from the company’s founding family.
Winchester Interconnect makes cable assemblies and connectors, with Snow Phipps having bought the company in 2016 and bolstered it with the subsequent acquisition of Minneapolis-based Tekna Seal.
