Royal Marines to take on US Marines in BOXING match to see who is tougher

The two factions will entertain a crowd of 2,000 people tonight, challenging each other for eight bouts at the Commando Training Centre Lympstone, Devon.

The event promises to be a relentless show of ability and strength, while viewers watching the bouts live or online can donate to The Royal Marine’s Charity.

A spokeswoman at the charity that aims to provide supports to veterans, cadets, Marines and their families confirmed to Express.co.uk tickets to the event are not sold, but anyone can donate as much as they want to.

She added: “Everything will be donated to us.”

The event is the first of its kind, as Royal Marine Commandos never previously fought in a ring soldiers from the United States Marine Corps (USMC).
