Adele is reportedly learning a new skill to impress fans during her upcoming residency Adele In Munich.
The sixteen-time Grammy Award winner, 36, is learning German so she can surprise fans with special phrases during her concerts.
Adele In Munich, Adele's second concert residency and first European show since 2016, kicks off on August 2 and will end on August 31.
Her only scheduled European gig for 2024, Adele In Munich will run twice a week at the Munich Messe, an 80,000-seat outdoor arena.
An insider told The Sun: 'Adele has been working on what to do in Munich since April. She wants to converse with the crowd in German.
'And rather than serving up a line here and there, she has been preparing full sentences.
'She wants to make the audiences feel at home and show she has made a respectful effort. But English fans shouldn’t worry. She will be talking about her life and telling funny stories in her native tongue.'
Despite tickets being available from January, Adele In Munich is yet to sell out with prices as high as £431 for standard tickets and VIP packages costing more than £600.
Adele announced her second concert residency on Instagram, writing: 'So, a few months ago I got a call about a summer run of shows.
I’ve been content as anything with my shows in London’s Hyde Park and my residency in Vegas, so I hadn’t had any other plans.
'However, I was too curious to not follow up and indulge in this idea - a one off, bespoke pop-up stadium designed around whatever show I want to put on? Ohh!? Pretty much slap bang in the middle of Europe? In Munich?
'That’s a bit random, but still fabulous! Right after the Euros? Come on England! With the Olympics next door? Go on Simone! And some of my favourite artists playing shows too? Why…YES!! I haven’t played in Europe since 2016!
'I couldn’t think of a more wonderful way to spend my summer and end this beautiful phase of my life and career with shows closer to home during such an exciting summer.
She finished: 'Guten Tag babes x For further details, please visit Adele.com.'
Adele In Munich follows her first concert residency Weekends With Adele which ran from 2022 to 2024 in Las Vegas.
For both residencies, the associated Adele album is 30, her fourth, released in 2021 and certified 4x platinum.
30 made Adele the first artist to win album of the year at the BRIT Awards three times.
The album's lead single Easy On Me became Adele's longest-running number one on the UK and US charts.
