Controversial Manchester United YouTuber Mark Goldbridge's staggering earnings for 2023 have been revealed.
Goldbridge, 45, whose real name is Brent Di Cesare, is a former Nottingham Forest fan, but has risen to fame on social media through his coverage of United in recent years.
He has had a number of viral moments during his United watch-along sessions for each match, including his X-rated rant when the Red Devils suffered a late collapse to lose against Chelsea in April.
But United's misfortune appears to have worked out well for Goldbridge, who is now the sole director of five companies, the oldest one being The United Stand Limited.
According to information published on Companies House, the five companies had £4,039,957 in the bank between them as of the end of 2023, up £1.2million on the figure a year earlier.
The companies are not big enough to require full, audited accounts to be published, but Goldbridge still seems to have had an excellent 2023 while United struggled on the pitch.
Goldbridge's outspoken views have angered some United fans and former players, with ex-Red Devils defender Paul Parker hitting out at the YouTuber for causing 'problems' last October.
Parker told BonusCodeBets: 'I don't like what Mark Goldbridge is doing.
'It's a problem. Everyone has to make a living but you have to be very, very thick skinned to make money off the back of something you don't like.
'He has no relationship to Man United, he is a Nottingham Forest fan. It's an incredible skill to do that, actually… to make money on the back of something you don't like.
'He is attacking the club, the manager and the owners of a football club that you don't even love. He has no inner feeling with the club and it's a scary but incredible feeling to have to be that invested in a club that you don't support.'
Goldbridge has been involved in more controversy in 2024, having hit back at Marcus Rashford after the winger claimed he had received 'abuse for months' on social media.
Some United fans pinned the blame on Goldbridge after he was critical of Rashford's performances last season, but he defended himself in an online video as he told his YouTube followers on The United Stand: 'In life, not everything is red and green, it's everything in-between. And sometimes abuse is happening to Marcus Rashford. The problem here is, criticism is not abuse.
'Saying you want to drop him, saying you want to sell him... it's not abuse to call someone out for their performances, say they look like they can't be a***d, say that they're overpaid, say that they want to be dropped. That's not abuse.
'What is abuse, is saying, "F*** off Rashford", or "Rashford's faking injury". Calling him "Trashford" and stuff like that. There's different levels of abuse there, but that is unfounded, unfair, and not right.
'Now, I think if you're in a football ground and Rashford misses a chance and you go, "Oh, f*** off Rashford", that's not abuse, that's just instant passion.'
Alejandro Garnacho also landed himself in hot water after liking one of Goldbridge's X posts in April when the YouTuber accused Erik ten Hag of 'throwing a 19-year-old under the bus' for taking him off at half time against Bournemouth.
Garnacho was reprimanded for his behaviour, but Ten Hag was happy to 'move on' from the incident after the forward apologised.
Meanwhile, Rasmus Hojlund's decision to do an interview with The United Stand back in February sparked a backlash, with Mail Sport exclusively revealing that Goldbridge was sent death threats in the aftermath.
It was reported that some of United's players were furious with Hojlund for granting an interview to the controversial fan channel, but the Danish striker dismissed this as 'fake news'.
