Fans have showered Arne Slot with praise after the Liverpool manager provided a scathing post-match analysis on Man United's problems on Sunday afternoon.
Slot helped mastermind a 3-0 victory for his Liverpool team at Old Trafford as Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah both scored for the Reds.
It was Slot's third league match in charge and his third win in a row. His side are also the only team yet to concede in the Premier League thus far.
The Dutchman's tactics have been paying off and after the match on Sunday, he offered fans an insight into his analysis after picking apart United's structural issues.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Slot said: 'Last season, they were man marking on the midfield, and they had a press with the seven and 11 (the wingers). So with the striker, and one of the wingers jumped with him.
'This season, they are more with a 9 and 10 press, so they're more in a 442. So that's different, of course. I see them, in my opinion, working harder if the ball is being played through them, so they run more. That's at least what I saw in their first games.
'Their style is also - this is maybe last season, I don't remember that well - but their full-backs, nine out of ten times, are really high, and then Casemiro comes in between. So, if you pick up the ball and you can keep Diaz and Mo Salah high, then you're constantly in a one-on-one situation.
'Then you need midfielders that can run, and we had three of them today that kept running, and if they arrive in a duel, they are aggressive enough to win it. So that was, I think, one of the main reasons why we could win today.'
Fans were quick to laud the post-match analysis from Slot, with one supporter writing on X: 'Slot knows ball. Hardly anything spent this season. 3 matches, 3 clean sheets. Here, he breaks down United setup issues. ETH, in his interview, blames it on individual errors.'
One frustrated United fan wrote: 'Arne Slot just perfectly broke down our style of play under Ten Hag and how his side beat it today in about two minutes flat out on Sky Sports. Can't be a****'.
Another said: 'Arne Slot ripped apart Ten Hag's tactics not only for this game but for last season too in 2 minutes and all of it shows the tactical naivety of Ten Hag. Also see his emphasis on 'midfielders who can run', which is very imp for any PL side, but Ten Hag refuses to fix that issue'.
After the game, Slot also insisted he wants to enjoy Mohamed Salah's talents for as long as possible after the Egyptian scored one and set up two goals in Liverpool's 3-0 win.
Salah, 32, is in the final season of his Liverpool contract and afterwards admitted he treated it as his last appearance at Old Trafford.
Asked about Salah's comments, Slot said: 'It's a lot of 'if'. At this moment he is one of ours and I am really happy with him being one of ours and he played really well. I don't talk about contracts from players but I can talk for hours about how Mo played today.'
'Everything what you want to see as a manager you saw in this game,' Slot said.
'There were difficult moments for us, United started really well but then we the have disallowed goal and there was no negative reaction.
'We kept on playing, scoring three, we could have scored more, two important saves from Alisson and the work rate was incredibly well without the ball and that makes it a very positive day.'
