Coleen Rooney's children were among the students returning to school after the summer holidays this week. 

The wife of former England footballer Wayne Rooney, 38, took to her Instagram on Friday to share with her followers a sweet snap of her children all ready for their first day back at school. 

In the snap, Kit, eight, Kai, 14, Klay, 10, and Cass, five, posed in their school uniform as they prepared to get back to their studies. 

She captioned the sweet snap with: 'My Gang (love heart emojis)…. Year 10…7…4…2 Have a great school year 2024/2025 everyone' 

Stars including Stacey Solomon, Peter Andre, Helen Flanagan, Rochelle Humes, and Lucy Mecklenburgh also waved off their little ones this week as the school's reopened after the summer holidays. 

Former Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan, 34, shares three children, Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and three-year-old Charlie with her ex-fiancé, Scott Sinclair, 35.

The actress also posted a sweet snap of her youngest daughter, Delilah, after her first day in year two.

Helen wrote: 'Loved year two was worried about her today.'

This Morning presenter Rochelle Humes, 35, shares Alaia, 11, Valentina, 7, and Blake, three, with her husband, Marvin Humes, 39. 

The TV star shared a sweet snap of her and her daughter's feet with the caption: 'Settle morning for Valle at her new big school.'

Rochelle also shared a photo of her eldest daughter Alaia, 10, heading back to school for her first day in year seven. 

The proud mother wrote: 'Alaia's first day of SECONDARY school today a big year 7!'

She added: 'It's all happening SO fast, Valle's first class today is games which she is SO excited about (hence pe kit).' 

She concluded: 'Good luck girlies… will miss us hanging everyday.'

TV personality Stacey also jumped on the bandwagon and shared a snap of herself holding her four-year-old son Rex whom she shares with her husband Joe Swash, ahead of his first day back at school. 

The mum of five captioned the post: 'Happy Tuesday. Up and out early and back to school.' 

Peter Andre, 51, and his wife Emily shared an adorable video reel on Instagram as they made sure their two children, Theo and Amelia were ready for their first day.

The proud parents, who also welcomed their youngest Arabella earlier this year, were seen packing lunches, doing their kids' hair and organising school bags.

While Amelia, nine, and Theo, seven, were smartly dressed in their school uniform for their first day back. 

Former TOWIE star Lucy, 33, also waved her son Roman, whom she shares with fiancé Ryan Thomas, back off to school.

Roman, four, looked adorable in his big boy blazer and grey school socks as the pair posed in front of a staircase in their home. 

The adorable back-to-school snaps come after Coleen and Wayne's eldest son Kai marked his own return to school last year.

He shared a snap of himself posing in his school uniform and had a black backpack slung across his shoulders as he prepared to get back to his studies.

The teenager, who once featured in a Puma campaign, posted the picture to his Instagram Stories alongside a sticker which read: 'Back to school.'
