Karen Gillan showed off her growing baby bump in an elegant cream dress as she attended the Toronto International Film Festival, hours after sharing the news that she's expecting her first child.

The Guardians of the Galaxy star, 36, looked sensational as she posed for an official IMDb portrait on Saturday. 

As part of the promotion of her latest film The Life of Chuck, which was released on Friday, the actress wore an off the shoulder cream mini dress with ruffled sleeves and a bow detail. 

She added to the embroidered ensemble with a pair of opaque tights and sleek black loafers a she posed with her red hair loose.

The Doctor Who star opted for soft make up and minimal jewellery, adding a touch of black nail polish.

Karen is expecting her first child with husband Nick Kocher, whom wed in May 2022 at Castle Toward near Dunoon in Argyll. 

The red-haired beauty was joined for the portrait session by the rest of the cast of her latest project including Benjamin Pajak, Tom Hiddleston, Mike Flanagan, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Kate Siegel.

For the group shots the cast mates laughed and chatted.

Tom, 43, donned a dark blue cable knit jumper with a pair of grey and smart brown shoes while Chiwetel, 47, opted for a more oversized look with a brown button up jumper and dark black baggy trousers. 

Also posing for the photo was Kate, 42, who looked gorgeous in a black slip dress with spaghetti straps and lace detail around the neckline. 

Benjamin, 17, donned a bold look with a blue and pink Hawaiian print shirt under a grey suit s he laughed along with the cast. 

The Scottish actress's new project is a a life-affirming, genre-bending story based on Stephen King's novella about three chapters in the life of an ordinary man named Charles Krantz played by Tom, according to IMDb.

On Friday night, Karen put her bump front and centre as she graced the red carpet at The Life of Chuck Premiere in Canada.

The Jumanji actress looked glowing and radiant in a yellow bodycon dress, teamed with perspex heels at the Toronto International Film Festival premiere.

Karen, who has not disclosed the gender of her baby, cradled her growing bump as she graced the red carpet.

The actress, who boasts 7.8million Instagram followers, is yet to announce her joyful news on social media.

Her wedding was a glamorous affair, with family and friends arriving in a luxury superyacht, while Nick and the groomsmen opted for a speedboat.

A-list guests, reported to have included Julia Roberts and Avengers co-star Robert Downey Jnr were understood to have been in attendance, while Matt Smith and Steven Moffat were also said to have been invited.

The Hollywood star is now based in the US and recently starred in the ITV drama Douglas is Cancelled.
