Danielle Lloyd has revealed how she maintains her trim figure after turning her back on cosmetic surgery. 

The former Miss GB, 40, has previously undergone liposuction, a Brazilian bum lift, a boob job, eye-lift and jaw-tightening procedures. 

Yet now she is refusing to go under the knife again and has even had her lip fillers dissolved in search of a more natural look. 

In an exclusive chat with MailOnline, the mother-of-five revealed she's found another method for weight loss - taking ketone supplements.

'They help me feel good about myself and they burn fat as well,' she explained.  

Ketones are molecules the liver naturally produces and uses as fuel when it is running low on energy from carbohydrates — burning fat for fuel. 

In recent months, several celebrities have been turning to Ozempic to use weight - a weekly injection that helps lower blood sugar by helping the pancreas make more insulin that can also result in weight loss. 

While Danielle has not gone down this route, she confessed: 'I wouldn't say never. But I feel like I know how to lose weight. 

'I go to the gym. I can lose weight quite quickly because I know how to eat, workout for me etc. I take ketones - but I just wouldn't do anything that would be a risk my health.

'I think a lot of people probably do it because I've seen loads of people now that look so slim and they do it very quickly.' 

It's concerns about her health - and her children - that also prompted her decision to stop going under the knife. 

The model shares sons Archie, 14, Harry, 10, and George, 13, with ex Jamie O'Hara. She has son Ronnie, six, and daughter Autumn, two, with husband Michael O'Neill. 

She underwent a boob job and liposuction after welcoming Ronnie, explaining: 'I got really badly trolled over my weight gain and that made me want to have it done.

'At the time, I was glad that I had it because I felt good about myself. But now I look back and think like, "Oh my God. I put my life in danger. What if I didn't wake up?"'

She continued: 'Michael's also told me no more, but I wouldn't want to do it. I don't want to put myself through that. 

'Imagine not waking up and not being there for my kids? Or them saying, "what happened" and it's "oh, she was having a bit of cosmetic surgery because she didn't feel good about herself." I can't justify it. I want to be here for as long as possible for my kids. 

'I’ve even had my lips dissolved because I feel more comfortable in my own skin now. Having a daughter I want her to feel that she doesn’t need to change herself.'

Danielle has also learned how to deal with the trolls. 

She confessed: 'The trolling actually hasn't been as bad anymore. I think it's because I've distanced myself from that "celebrity' world" going to the opening of an envelope and all that!

'I'm not interested in that in that stuff anymore. I've just grown and I'm stable in my family. I'm stable in my relationship. I've just become a different person now.'

Danielle's focus remains her family and she recently learnt just how important it is not to take their safety for granted. 

In October, Danielle was caught up in a terrifying home invasion that saw thieves ransack her house for items including a £100,000 Richard Mille watch and a gold Cartier bracelet worth £20,000. 

Police believe she was targeted by the same gang that broke into Manchester City Jack Grealish's home. 

While Danielle and her family were out at the time, the alarm sent alerts to their phones and they watched through an app as the gang tore through their home.

'It was just horrible watching it,' she recalled. 'They were in and out in 90 seconds. They went straight to my bedroom and just ransacked it.

'I rang my neighbour and him and his son went round to the house and they missed the robbers by less than a minute. 

'It was probably a good thing because of what could have happened. They had crowbars and hammers with them to break down the glass and the door.'

Since then, Danielle and her family have moved three times and she's currently building her dream home from the ground up, with the hopes of moving in next year. 

'I just couldn't wait to get out of the house,' she explained. ' I think it was more harsh on the kids. Ronnie couldn't sleep for months on end. He was in our bed and he was just so upset.' 

Since the robbery, Danielle has been taking extra precautions to prevent it happening again, being mindful of what she posts on social media and when.  

'We had the best security at the house that you could possibly have, but it still happens. You've just got to be really careful,' she says. 

'I'm trying not to put out as much stuff on social media but after something like that, you never truly feel 100 percent safe. 

'It made me realise that having material things just doesn't even matter. I just want to be happy.'
