A Married At First Sight groom left his bride seething just seconds after they met at the altar because he couldn't stop staring at her twin sister.
The reality show returned to E4 for a brand-new series on Monday night and after three hugely successful runs, two BAFTA nominations and even a baby, the upcoming fourth series is set to bring more love and drama than ever.
The show is set to run for a whopping nine weeks and Paul C. Brunson, Mel Schilling, and Charlene Douglas will all be gracing TV screens again as the resident relationship experts.
Just two episodes in it seems to be delivering on the promise of drama, as fans saw some awkward scenes during Tuesday's episode.
Tonight's episode followed engineer Nathan, 24, from Somerset and office manager Lacey, 27, from Hertfordshire as they met for the first time down the aisle.
But, their marriage gets off to a rocky start as Nathan's eyes wandered to one of Lacey's relatives.
One moment saw Lacey ask her new husband: 'So is your type petite, brunette, big batty gal? Because I'm what you asked for'.
Nathan says 'Yeah,' but Lacey noticed his reluctance and quipped: 'You hesitated there'.
The camera then settles on Lacey's sister Paige and their mother, who reveals: 'He thought he was marrying Paige'.
The awkward scenes get worse when the engineer told his new life partner that she 'looked nice'.
'Nice?,' she responded in shock, 'Nice? I want beautiful. I want gorgeous. I want stunning. Your nan looks nice. Your mum looks nice.'
In her introduction, Lacey candidly revealed that she was bullied for her looks when she was younger and she often compared herself to her twin.
Later in the episode, dramatic scenes saw her get teary-eyed as she expressed her worries to her friends and family.
'It's not nice hearing that my husband is saying 'wow' to my twin. Growing up people used to say how my twin was prettier than me. That's annoyed me only because I didn't get a wow,' Lacey admitted.
Adding: 'It was a bit gutting, I'm not sure if he fancies me. I hope I am what he wants. I need him to be a good one because I don't want to be hurt. I've been hurt so much in the past, I wanna feel like I am good enough.'
Nathan later explained to Lacey: 'I was nervous, I was really nervous. When your sister walked out I thought it was you. So naturally, I was just gonna be like, 'Oh, wow.'
'Then after I didn't know who was coming. I guess at the time I just kind of froze a little bit and I didn't know how to act. That kind of wobbled me through me a little bit. Do you know what I mean?
'You're right up my street. You're proper. I couldn't have had it any better.'
Although the new couple patched things up, Lacey admitted she's still unsure whether Nathan is mature enough for her.
When asked why he signed up for the programme, Nathan said: 'It will be cool to meet someone. Hopefully we're on the same vibe.'
Meanwhile, Lacey quipped: 'I'd love to get a husband. I'm thinking long term so husband, babies, travel then move in together.'
Nathan and Lacey aren't the first couple to encounter issues down the aisle.
The first couple matched by the experts to tie the knot were revealed to be dog walker Kristina, 30, and Kieran, 28, a mechanic from Newcastle.
Channel 4 shared a first look clip to social media last month month, showing a glimpse into the thrilling moment the two come face to face for the first time on their wedding day.
The video began with Kieran waiting nervously at the altar for the ceremony to begin, sporting a checked suit and cream tie.
However, he had a cruel prank up his sleeve, as he subtly slipped in a pair of fake teeth, giving him a unattractive buck-toothed grin.
Kristina can then seen being walked down the aisle by her dad, looking stunning in classic sparkly white dress.
But as Kieran turns around and reveals his novelty crooked teeth, she looks shocked and gasps: 'Oh my god!'
Her voice can be heard saying: 'These teeth. What the f**k?' as a cheeky Kieran beams and asks: 'You alright, you ok? What's your name?'
Fans flooded the comments with excitement for the new series to begin, while many slammed Kieran for the trick on Kristina, calling him an 'instant ick'.
Meanwhile, other fans were left stunned as new bride Richelle revealed her real age ahead of the new season of the hit show.
The investment company worker was divulging her ideal man during the interview.
The beauty explained to the camera that she was looking for someone to match her energy and to have fun with.
She said: 'The first thing I notice in someone is there energy. My perfect date is lots of drinks, lots of laughs and lots of food.'
She continued: 'My biggest deal-breaker is a man who is not masculine.'
Before adding that she hoped to have a good time during the experiment.
She said: 'The best thing that could happen is we have a lot of fun together and we enjoy the process with each other.
'I deserve love because everybody deserves love'
But before the reality star had even given fans of the show a glimpse into her dating hopes and dreams, she revealed that she was in fact 48 years old, and shocked viewers couldn't believe it.
Expectant fans of the show were surprised that Richelle was 48 and exclaimed that she looked amazing for her age and took to the comments to share their shock.
