An interview with Diddy on The Wendy Williams Show has resurfaced years after the disgraced mogul was arrested on sex trafficking charges.

The 2017 clip showed the awkward moment the controversial rapper and Williams chatted about her son Kevin Hunt Jr., who was 16 at the time.

As Sean 'Diddy' Combs talked about his then new movie 'Can't Stop, Won't Stop,' he explained to Williams that he didn't release it for the money, but instead to share a story 'that had a happy ending' for African American men and women.

The crowd erupted in applause as Williams, now 60, referred to her son Kevin Hunt Jr., now 24, just before Diddy admitted to meeting the teenager backstage before the interview.

'And let me tell you something, as the mother of a now 16-year-old - ' Williams said as Diddy interrupted her and said: 'Mhm, who I met backstage, he's a great young man.'

Williams swiftly thanked him for the compliment before appearing to space out and stutter her words as Diddy stared at her.

'You, you represent a lot to a lot of people in general. I mean you're an example to people who aren't black, like "Yes we can, yes we can", you're an example to boys, like your boys, my boys, their boys, boys in general,' Williams said.

Commenters quickly flocked to the old clip and noted how cagey Williams was when Diddy mentioned her son.

'That was a threat, he’s saying play nice,' one wrote.

Another said: 'The way that she hesitated, you know that she knew about him!'

'It looks like her mind is quickly flipping through all the different horrifying things that could've happened backstage...' a person said.

'The way she wanted to say “you stay away from my son”,' another added.

Another user said: 'I can hear her internally screaming!'

Combs, 54 - who has been denied bail by a judge - was indicted for sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution earlier this month in New York City.

It's a stunning fall for the 'It's All About the Benjamins' rapper, who was once hip-hop's wealthiest and most influential mogul.

U.S. Attorney Damian Williams, in revealing what federal agents found during the March raid of Diddy's Miami residence, displayed graphics that showed off confiscated unmarked AR-15s, ammunition, as well as 1,000 bottles of baby oil and other lubricant.

'The indictment alleges that between at least 2008 and the present, Combs abused, threatened and coerced victims to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct,' Williams said.

'The indictment alleges that Combs used and exploited women and other people for years, and in a variety of ways. As alleged, Combs used force, threats of force, and coercion to cause victims to engage in extended sexual performances with male commercial sex workers, some of whom transported, or caused to be transported, over state lines.'

They also revealed evidence had been gathered of Combs’ long-rumored sex parties — which he referred to as 'freak offs' — during their raids on his Los Angeles and Miami homes, finding, 'electronic devices that contain images and videos of the freak offs, with multiple victims.'

Diddy liked to plan and control the 'sex performances,' the feds alleged, that sometimes lasted 'days at a time,' and involved sex workers and a variety of narcotics such as ketamine, ecstasy, and GHB, 'which Combs distributed to the victims to keep them obedient and compliant.'

This is not the first time Williams has been mentioned in the midst of Diddy's scandal, as fans quickly realized that the former talk show host had been warning the world about his alleged crimes for years.

Williams had been critical of Diddy during her career as a radio and television host, and fans argued that she had been one of the few stars to call out his alleged antics 'for decades'

She started trending on X as fans started to lament the loss of her Hot Topics segment, in which she would unpack all the latest news from Hollywood on The Wendy Williams Show.

Williams had been critical of Diddy during her career as a radio and television host, and fans argued that she had been one of the few stars to call out his alleged antics 'for decades.'

'Wendy Williams told us decades ago about Diddy,' one X user wrote. 'The streets have been talking for a very long time.'

Another agreed: 'Wendy Williams been telling y'all about Diddy for years.'

Diddy's legal team offered a $50million package to secure his release from jail, including the rap mogul's Miami mansion, worth $48 million, as collateral.

It also included the home of Diddy's mother, valued at $2million.

Since his arrest, the disgraced artist has been hit with two new lawsuits, as one woman, Thalia Graves, alleges he raped her and recorded the assault.

Diddy was spotted hanging out in Central Park the day before he was arrested on sex trafficking charges

Graves says the music mogul and his head of security Joseph Sherman raped her at the Bad Boys Records studios in New York back in 2001.

Graves claims she was 25 and dating one of the rapper's employees when she was lured into a meeting by Diddy, who said he wanted to 'discuss her boyfriend’s supposed performance issues.'

In the lawsuit, obtained by DailyMail.com, Richard claims that she was 'manipulated' by Combs on promises that he would help her music career.

Another lawsuit, filed just days ago, states that a woman claims she was abused by Didy for years and was impregnated by him.

The suit, filed under the name Jane Doe, was first reported by TMZ.

Jane Doe claims the rapper drugged and assaulted her over four years, and that she became pregnant during one of the encounters before suffering a miscarriage.

The alleged victim says she met Diddy in 2020, when she was invited to join him in an all-expenses paid trip.
