James Corden was seen suited and booted once again as he smartened himself up for the latest Gavin And Stacey filming on Tuesday.
The actor, 46, who plays Smithy in the BBC hit show looked worlds away from his character's usual scruffy appearance as he opted for a navy suit and grey tie.
Fans have been given previous clues about the wedding that is set to take centre stage of the Christmas Special after the last episode ended with Nessa's shock proposal.
Last month the cast were spotted boarding the famous Dave's Coaches to head to the church for the big day, but the bride-to-be herself Nessa was noticeably absent.
And Nessa (Ruth Jones) appeared absent once again, while the rest of the cast hurried around in states of mid-dress at Pam and Mick's Essex home, suggesting the wedding will not be in Wales.
Joanna Page, who plays Stacey, appeared with her blonde locks pinned in rollers as she wore a black coat over a pink dressing gown jacket.
She was also seen sporting a blue floral skirt and UGG boots as she waved to fans with a full face of glam.
Meanwhile her on-screen husband Mathew Horne (Gavin) looked nowhere near ready for the wedding ceremony as he was seen in a pair of Spurs pyjama bottoms and long black coat.
Gavin's parents Pam (Alison Steadman) and Mick (Larry Lamb) were also seen during the busy day of filming as they too wrapped up in long black coats.
Larry also sported his pyjamas as he kept it comfy in a grey dressing gown and striped navy bottoms and slippers.
Elsewhere Alison appeared wedding ready as she wowed in a bright pink dress and styled her blonde locks in a curled half up half down look.
The Welsh side of the cast were missing from filming as was the assumed bride Nessa.
Viewers are eager to see if they will finally get the happy ending they had hoped for in the last ever episode, set to air on Christmas Day.
Smithy and Nessa have famously had an on-off relationship over the course of the BBC sitcom, with the show's 2019 Christmas special ending on a cliffhanger after she proposed.
In scenes filmed last month the wedding party boarded a coach as they headed to the church.
However in a humorous twist fitting of the shows beloved antics, the wedding party appeared to have hit an unexpected snag, getting stuck in the mud while en route to the ceremony.
Onlookers watched as the party was towed out of a field, adding some real-life comedy to the day's events.
Among those who could be seen aboard the coach was Joanna and Mathew.
Joining them was Larry and Melanie Walters as Stacey's mother Gwen West.
Earlier this week the whole cast of Gavin and Stacey united for more filming of the Christmas special as they all headed to Pam and Mick's Billericay house.
On screen best pals James and Mathew walked onto set together and gave waiting fans large smiles and a 'hello'.
Walking along the street outside the house James and Matthew seemed to be getting on like a house on fire and smiled and waved at fans as they got ready to film.
The pair seemed to have buried the hatchet and appeared as close as ever, years after James discussed their relationship on Piers Morgan's Life Stories in 2011 where he admitted they had drifted apart.
Ruth flashed thumbs up and looked in great spirits as she bundled up in a black coat over her costume.
Rob Brydon, who stars as Uncle Bryn was also on set alongside Robert Wilfort who plays Stacey's brother Jason - meaning viewers could eventually find out what happened on their notorious fishing trip.
The characters have had a long-standing secret about something that occurred on a trip away together.
The fishing trip is a running joke throughout the show and refers to an encounter between Bryn and Jason.
The incident is so embarrassing the pair can't discuss it and avoid eye contact when it's brought up.
The only clues that have been given are that the pair were on their knees, it was a cold night, it was legal in the UK and according to Dace Coaches, it defied the laws of gravity.
As the whole cast arrived on set to for scenes at Pam and Mick's home the crew let slip a major filming secret.
While Pam, Mick and Gavin all hail from Billericay in Essex, their family home is in fact in Wales.
The cast reunited to film the scenes in the Shipman home in Dinas Powys, South Wales.
This marks the final stages of filming the hotly anticipated Christmas special.
Last week the cast confirmed that they had finished filming scenes on the famous Trinity Street, which acts as the backdrop for the homes of both Stacey and Gavin, her mother Gwen and uncle Bryn.
'You haven't seen anything because we've been indoors, which shows you're true committed fans of the show and we hope that you won't be disappointed on Christmas Day, when all will be revealed,' Ruth told fans.
'This is our farewell now to Barry and to Trinity Street, so you won't be seeing us here anymore but we've had a wonderful 17 years, it's been fantastic.'
James added: 'Thank you very much to everyone, we'll see you soon.'
